On November 27, 2009 (Friday), as part of the action that took place throughout Macedonia, 26 Japanese cherries were planted in the complex of the monastery "St. Joachim Osogovski". The cherries were planted in honor of the prematurely deceased Macedonian star Tose Proeski.
The action was attended by the Mayor of Kriva Palanka, Mr. Arsencho Aleksovki and part of the municipal administration, MP Oliver Aleksovski, the director of the Kriva Palanka branch of PE Makedonski Sumi, representatives of all public institutions in the municipality, representatives of the NGO sector and students from high school.
