The citizens of Kriva Palanka can dispose of unusable electronic and electrical waste, appliances and their parts in the first designated collection point by the Municipality which is located next to the quay wall near the Bus Station.
Any unusable electronic and electrical waste or their parts that unnecessarily occupy space in basements and other rooms from now on citizens can at any time leave them in the open temporary cages for electronic and electrical waste that are placed by PE "Komunalec" besides Eco warehouse located in the same location. In a certain period of time, a certain person from the PE "Komunalec" will carry out the transfer of waste to the Eco warehouse provided by the company Elkolekt. After the completion of the Eco warehouse, the determined handler with this type of waste will organize its emptying, transportation and appropriate treatment.
According to the legislation, and in the interest of environmental protection, the citizens are informed that they are obliged to separate the unusable electronic and electrical waste that originates from the households and to postpone it at the designated place for such purpose. This means that further disposal of electrical and electronic waste in individual municipal waste bins as well as collective waste bins is strictly prohibited and punishable.
The municipality provides the conditions, and the citizens are the ones who should use them.
